USERS GUIDE
BECOMING A MEMBER
Click on Join
Now, fill out the application form and press submit. Once you
have received your email
confirmation containing your password, you can immediately start to use
the solution via the Member's
log on.
WHEN YOU ARE A MEMBER
To log on Click Members Section or Home,
then please complete and press Log On. The details you
will be asked to enter are listed below:
Company Name (The company name you give us) Name
(Either full name, Christian name or surname)
Password (Your unique password - Please keep this password
confidential).
Should you forget the password, or decide to change it,
please contact Helpdesk.
When you have entered these details, press Log
on. Should you enter the incorrect details, the words
Invalid Log in will appear. Just re-enter your correct
details to log on.
WHEN ON THE SITE
You now have the following options:
- Financial and Credit Risk Reports
- Sales Reports
- Unincorporated Business reports
- Supplier Reports
- Monitoring
- International Reports
- Own Branded Reports
INCORPORATED/FINANCIAL, SALES AND SUPPLIER REPORTS
When searching by company name, unless you are using the exact name match
option, there is no
need to enter words such as plc, ltd, holdings and group, as these are
common stop words, which will
be excluded from the search.
Searching by registered company number refers to limited companies only.
It will display an exact
match as all limited companies have a unique registration number. Alpha
prefixes however must be
entered, e.g. SC004723. For a complete listing of alpha prefixes, see
Alpha Prefixes in the Assistance section.
Searching by parent company number will identify all subsidiaries for
the limited company registration number entered. It will retrieve results
from both the holding company number and the ultimate holding company
number. As in the registered number field, leading zeros need not be entered.
Downloading Individual Company Reports The Search Results screen will
list all the companies that
have been retrieved. Each company listed displays the company name, registered
number, company
status and registered address.
From the Search Results screen, select the company you require by simply
clicking on the highlighted company name. (Your account will now be debited
with the relevant points) You may find that not all
reports are available on every company. This could be due to a number
of reasons.
For example, the company may not have been analysed if it has not yet
filed accounts, or it may be
filing non-trading accounts.
UNICORPORATED BUSINESS REPORTS
The system works in a similar method to that of obtaining incorporated
company searches.
DIRECTORS REPORTS
With over five million directors in the UK, it is important that you have
good quality information on
whom you wish to view a search on. From the Search Results screen, select
the director you require
by simply clicking on the highlighted directors name. Your account will
now be debited with the relevant points.
Viewing, Printing or Saving
When the report you have chosen is visible on screen. You can either just
view the information, print
and/or save it to your computer.
YOUR ACCOUNT
The Web Accountants Ltd has developed one of the most advanced management systems designed
to give instant
on-line information in order for you to manage your reporting requirements.
Your account information
is available to managers aswell as restricted details to listed users.
VIEW USAGE REPORTS
Use this facility to view your organisations usage of credit reports
as follows:
You can view the date the 'Report was last requested', who the 'User'
was in your organisation, the
'Type of report' used, who the company report was on, 'Subject' and the
points used 'Credits'.
By clicking on the 'date last requested' field, the specific report can
be recreated. You are not charged
for this service. In addition, you can view usage by 'User' and by 'Month'.
The report will show the date, time, user, type of report, Subject Company
and credits used for every transaction you have done. At the bottom of
the report, the total points used for the month is shown.
ADD POINTS
This facility puts you in control of adding more points when necessary.
This solution does not run
automatic re-ordering, however, you will be contacted by telephone or
e-mail should your balance fall
below 50 points. Only individuals with manager’s rights have the
ability to order more points on-line.
Purchase order number
You will need to enter a purchase order number. No orders are accepted
without one.
